What is LÖYLY?
The need to create an affordable and accessible place where social interaction in the sauna is welcome inspired Michael, Adrian, and Kevin to found LÖYLY in February 2023 in Zurich.
The self-service concept makes sauning affordable, straightforward, and enjoyable. With LÖYLY, spaces of encounter are created that invigorate body and mind, promote community, and make the closeness to nature tangible.
We believe that wellness should not be a luxury. Our goal is to create sauna experiences that are inclusive, affordable, and easy to integrate into everyday life – so that everyone finds moments of tranquility, balance, and recovery.

What does "Löyly" mean?
The Finnish word "Löyly" refers to the beneficial water vapor that arises during a sauna infusion. However, translating the term simply as infusion would be inadequate. In Finland, Löyly is also referred to as the spirit or soul of the sauna. The term represents the physical and mental well-being that a sauna bath conveys.
